Already in the planning phase, shading requirements are defined early, with solution approaches and options, including automation, developed and then tendered and executed. Serial construction thus becomes a real option.
But what about the millions of existing buildings that are yearning for renovation and energy optimization? Buildings where the requirement from the outset is to capture, assess, and then create solutions for local – often insufficiently documented – conditions individually. There’s nothing serial about it here.
With clever sun protection, the discussion about new heat pumps can at best be less emotional, because sun protection – automated – is an affordable optimization alternative for property owners, especially in moderately insulated buildings.
Once the option of automated sun protection is understood, the question arises: who provides manufacturer-neutral advice and implements the solutions? The search is on for a partner who plans, implements, and ideally also provides support after installation.
And that’s exactly where Vasatec GmbH comes in. Founded as a consortium of partners dedicated to the professional sun protection market, the company now operates as a vertically integrated one-stop-shop for automated sun protection, planning, producing, installing, and operating. “We operate here similarly to models known from other industries such as H&M, Tesla, Apple – Vasatec organises the entire supply chain and thinks about the customer’s needs,” says Thorsten Breithor, initiator of the concept. Vasatec procures fabrics and system hardware for projects, organizes the assembly of the systems, installs them, and delivers electrical installation and programming in the control cabinet ready for trouble-free and user-oriented operation.
Vasatec works for and with property owners, project developers, general contractors, planners, architects, metalworkers, and dealers. “At Vasatec, we have extensive experience in large projects with several thousand systems and small projects with very specific special shapes and applications. We are a team of experienced project engineers,” explains Arjen Stolk of Vasatec.
“As a partner of Vasatec, we feel well taken care of. We have a great product, and marketing through qualified partners of Vasatec enables completely new opportunities for us. The user consultation is excellent, the process is straightforward, and acceptances proceed smoothly without any issues. Vasatec is a real win-win for all involved,” says Mirco Roettger, manufacturing partner for Isolette, about Vasatec.
All projects start with the customer’s wishes and the definition of requirements. From there, Vasatec outlines solution options with various sun protection (whether it’s Venetian Blinds, ZIP Screens, Roller Blinds, Large Louvers, or Insulated Glass Louvers) and automation systems, presenting advantages and disadvantages, developing the project with the customer, and providing supporting, even after implementation and operation.
Vasatec realises projects that are always something extraordinary – that are always different. “Satisfied customers and users who recommend us and are happy to continue working with us, what more could we want,” says Arjen Stolk, continuing, “We are growing in a competitive market with honest workmanship and our expertise. We look forward to the coming years!”
