Project Details
The new manufacturing and distribution facility in Nettetal, Germany, was recently completed, featuring framed glass windows throughout the two-story structure. Once the building was occupied by high-grade shaving manufacturer Meredini, a shading solution could be specified, taking into consideration the needs of the new tenants. A high-performance motorised shading solution was required—one that was both durable and easy to maintain, while also fitting within the existing window configuration of the building.
The Interial® blind system, was easily installed behind the insulating glass unit, and proved to be the ideal glare protecting solution for office spaces and meeting areas. Designed specifically for seamless integration into existing window frames, the blinds were manufactured to match the building’s window specifications, including custom-made corner blinds. The innovative U-siderail system reduces light transmission through the sides and ensures that the blinds remain secure and operational, even when windows are opened or tilted.
The Vasatec solution features motorised operation using LL21-SMI motors, providing smooth operation through a central control system with VRS switches for individual blind control. This setup delivers a flexible shading solution, perfectly suited to the facility’s new purpose.
