Project Details

The iconic Olympia London exhibition centre and event space is currently being redeveloped as a visitor destination for culture, creativity and entertainment. The precinct will include a new theatre, hotel, cinema, art conference facilities, co-working office spaces and a logistics centre.

Bottom-up opaque fabric shading systems with zip side channels and very tall (9 meter) heavy-duty zip screen systems with special fabric tensioning springs. The shading systems are operated in unison by switch for up, down and intermediate height adjustment control using SMI digital motors and BUSbar cabling system – powering x16 motors/blinds per cable, greatly reducing the amount of wiring and connection points needed.
